The Fourth of July is right around the corner and Americans across the country are dusting off their barbecues and purchasing their fireworks. In the U.S., Independence Day means national pride, grilling out, colorful displays of explosives, and summertime. America is not the only country to celebrate their independence, however! 1. Cambodia
After their liberation from ruling France in 1953, Cambodia built a monument to their freedom in Phnom Penh, where thousands gather every year on November 9th to watch parades and fireworks in celebration of their independence.
