1. Trim Castle

Trim Castle, the largest Norman castle in Ireland, is located on the south bank of the River Boyne in Trim, County Meath, Ireland. It was built in the 12th century during the Norman rule and was the centre of the Norman administration for the Lordship of Meath.


2. Bunratty Castle

Bunratty Castle, located in County Clare, is hailed as one of Ireland's most popular tourist attractions. It was opened to the public in 1962 as a National Monument as is open to visitors year round. It is the most complete and authentically restored castle in Ireland.


3. Blarney Castle

The Blarney Castle is in Blarney, close to Cork, is one of Ireland's most visually attractive castles and was built in the 15th century. The Blarney castle is one of the most famous castles in Ireland and is home to the Blarney Stone where according to legend kissing the stone endows the kisser with the skill of flattery. 4. Slane Castle

6. Kilkenny Castle

7. Kylemore Abbey

Kylemore Abbey is a monastery founded in 1920 on the grounds of Kylemore Castle in Connemara Ireland. The estate includes large walled Victorian Gardens which are open for public tours and nature walks.
